Successful, Talented, Adults Reaching Skyward (STARS)

STARS offers adults with developmental disabilities a unique opportunity to encourage self-esteem and self-respect while learning valuable life and social skills. This weekly co-ed program offers a venue where individuals can make new friends and discover new interests.

Participants have the opportunity to practice these skills in a fun, safe environment. Parent/guardian involvement and support is key to the success of these individuals as well as the program.

The STARS program is currently being offered on Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gloria & Louis Flanzer Campus.

"My daughter needed the socialization and life skills training and I needed the support group so I could talk to other parents struggling with similar challenges."
