JFCS of the Suncoast’s annual Stand Down event for homeless veterans will take at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 26 from 8 a.m.-noon. The event provides an array of services for veterans, including medical checkups, benefit reviews and amnesty court. JFCS is asking the local community to support this community outreach initiative by both volunteering and donating clothing, toiletries and additional essentials.
