Teens spearhead effort to collect supplies at JFCS of the Suncoast for Afghan refugees

The collection will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the JFCS of the Suncoast office at 2866 Fruitville Road, Sarasota. Gustavo is also collecting supplies at Riverview, with donation boxes on campus through Oct. 1. In addition, JFCS of the Suncoast is working with the Clearwater-based Gulf Coast JFCS on its mission to welcome as many as 300 Afghan refugees to the Tampa Bay area.
