Job Summary/Function:

JFCS of the Suncoast, located in Sarasota, is looking to hire a Development Associate, Database Management and Donor Stewardship. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position will support all activities of a growing development department by maintaining effective donor information database.

The ideal candidate for this role will by highly detail oriented and able to effectively multi-task. 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in a nonprofit development office or sales office and experience with Donor Perfect or a CRM database are strongly preferred. This is a half-time position with flexible work hours.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall responsibility for donor database management, including accurate data entry
  • Gift processing and generating of acknowledgement letters
  • Development event support as needed for tracking gifts and sponsorships, accepting RSVPs, etc.
  • Maintaining donor files
  • Other support activities as needed
