On February 22nd, JFCS hosted our 13th annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down, welcoming approximately 60 veterans and their families. This impactful event provided essential resources, from free haircuts and socks to legal aid and job assistance, thanks to the dedication of 40 incredible vendors. A judge was also present to hear minor cases and fines, offering a fresh start to many.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers and vendors who made this event a success! A special thank you goes out to Pee Wee’s Canteen for providing meals to over 150 attendees.
We’re already looking forward to making next year’s event even bigger and better!
