About Us

Our Commitment

JFCS of the Suncoast is one of the area’s leading mental health and human services agencies. Services are delivered on a non-denominational basis, inspired by the Jewish tradition of helping all people.  With a goal to empower individuals to self-reliance and stability, JFCS services provide comprehensive care to community members in need. Our staff, volunteers, donors and partners strive for an impactful change to people’s lives forever.  JFCS is supported by a compassionate professional staff, counselors, clinicians and social workers all providing a warm, caring environment. Dignity

We believe worth is not conditional. We honor the full humanity of every person we serve, their privacy, their choices, their story, and their right to be seen as more than their circumstances. The way we treat someone is itself part of the help we offer.
 
Connection
We believe isolation is itself a wound, and that healing happens in relationship. We build bonds between staff and clients, between neighbors, and across generations and faiths, knowing that belonging is as essential as any service we provide. The relationships we foster outlast any single program or season of need.
 
Care
We attend to the whole person, not just the presenting concern. We notice what is unspoken, follow through on our promises, and pursue excellence in every interaction because the people who come to us deserve our best.
 
Ethical Action
