Art of Local Holocaust Survivors Featured at Venice Art Center

JFCS of the Suncoast is proud to present Through Their Eyes, an inspiring exhibition showcasing the artwork of Holocaust survivors Yakov Tsatskin and Rita Geifman. Also featured is Violetta Chandler, Yakov’s daughter and a talented artist representing the fifth generation of the Tsatskin family’s rich artistic legacy.

The exhibition runs from September 12 to October 2, 2025, at the Venice Art Center, 390 Nokomis Ave S., Venice, FL. Join us for the opening reception on September 12th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Admission is free, with donations welcome.

Through Their Eyes offers a powerful glimpse into the resilience, creativity, and enduring stories of these remarkable artists. We invite the community to come together to honor their legacy through art.
