Caregiver Support Groups
JFCS is offering an Aging Services Caregiver Support Group at our office at 2688 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota.
These free weekly meetings are meant to offer support, education, training, and opportunities to meet with others who face the challenges associated with being a caregiver.
You must call and do an intake interview before attending.

- Caregiver Support Group – This is a support group for caregivers (adult children, siblings, spouses, etc) caring for a loved one diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or mild cognitive impairment. Some members have lost a loved one but continue to attend.
- Memory Café – the purpose of this group is to provide relief for caregivers to attend the support group. The members of the Memory Café are in the advanced stages of memory loss. We currently have combined our Friday PLWD group with our Friday Memory Café group until we onboard another clinician.
